Double Cup Glory for Newry City Ladies F.C. / Newry Man Lost

The atmosphere in Holm Park Armagh was electric last Thursday night as Newry City Ladies F.C. took on Lurgan Town Girls in the final of the Mid Ulster Cup which would become the first piece in double Cup Glory. Newry dominated the play in what can only be described as a master class in style. The Lough was rocking as Northern Irish rock band  Gasoline Outlaws took time out  of their busy festival schedule to make the music video for their latest single. The L.É. ROISÍN arrived in Greenore Port on Friday evening to a large gathering of well-wishers as part of the Greenore Maritime Festival. It would be a weekend packed full of fantastic events with a reception aboard the LE Roisin on Saturday evening at the request of Irish foreign affairs office and Irish Naval services being the highlight of my weekend and an experience I’ll never forget.
