HOLLYWOOD COMES TO OMEATH Omeath was a buzz with activity yesterday when the bright lights of Hollywood came to town. The stars rolled in to feature in Venom Films latest blockbuster “Kissing Candice.” I was extremely privileged to get exclusive behind the scenes access to their latest production which is being shot in Ireland in conjunction with the Irish Film Board. The atmosphere was electric tonight as Newry City AFC U19s took on the US team LA Sand & Surf U19s who landed in Newry as part of their Irish tour. It was a game of equals and neither team let their concentration slip even for a minute resulting in an extremely exciting match which kept the crowd entertained and on the edge of their seats.
