The Ulster Aviation Society
THE ULSTER AVIATION SOCIETY
The Ulster Aviation Society was founded in 1968 and sits on the former WWII Long Kesh airfield site with it’s close neighbor The former Long Kesh/Maze Prison.
The Aviation society house many rare air craft including a Phantom Jet but let’s not forget it’s also home to Wessex and Puma Helicopters that seen service operating from RAF Aldergrove to Bessbrook Barracks.
Visits can be made by appointment and I highly recommended it for a family day out.
